About Refuge Ministries
In an effort to find practical ways to serve the community, Southland Christian Church birthed a vision to fund medical and dental clinics to serve the uninsured in Jessamine and Fayette County. It was a response to the tremendous need for primary and dental care for those who can barely manage to pay their bills and feed their families.
Refuge Ministries, a separate non-profit organization was created to accomplish this task. Our dream is to expand our services in order to continue to meet the needs of our communities.
